LEOPOLD — Perry Central baseball on Thursday faced Springs Valley and the Commodores seven runs in the second inning led them to a 8-5 win.

Perry Central’s first inning finished with a run due to a Springs Valley error. Meanwhile the second inning is where Perry Central found their rhythm. Travis Kellems drew a bases loaded walk to give Perry Central a 2-0 lead. Garrett Scamahorn, the next batter, hit a sacrifice fly to make it 3-0. After Scamahorn’s sacrifice fly, Caleb Hubert hit an RBI double to score Chase Hubert. Lastly, Cohen Edwards hit an RBI single to score their fifth and sixth runs. Edwards scored their seventh run off a passed ball from Springs Valley.
